BAND-MAID

BAND-MAID are an award-winning all female rock band from Tokyo. Their cute image - based on the Maid Cafes where Miku the group's founder once worked - is a stark contrast to the solid hard rock music that they play. Though popular in their homeland they have yet to break into the US market, and I was fortunate to catch them at a small venue in San Francisco.
